Did anyone receive any email/info, interview or acceptance from the Theory group?

Got in with 6k scholarship(international student). 1 internship with an American multinational company. No publication, Good SOP, not a high undergraduate GPA. This is my best admit so far. Most likely going. I'm So so happy.

Received an email saying that there was an update on my application status page. I wasn't expecting to get into the PhD program since I don't have a master's degree, but it was a pleasant surprise (I have research experience but no publications; I did not take the GRE Biology subject test). No information about funding yet. Good luck everyone!

To applicants of NYU & NYU.tandon, anyone knows if there will be more positive results? Because I didn't hear from these two. I once got reply from one professor I contacted in tandon, he said he would keep me updated if he had any questions, but no more news after that.

Informed of acceptance by POI, stating that I'll received the official offer in 1 to 2 days. Was awarded the Ernst Weber Fellowship with a $6000 bonus for first year. Research area is cybersecurity of power systems. MS GPA: 3.88/4.00. 4 IEEE Transactions and 2 IEEE Conference publications, with 2 addition IEEE Transactions under review at the time of application. Rejected last year, accepted this year!

TTPB: Congrats!!! Did they inform how many candidates are being interviewed? Was it an email from PoI or DGS?
