To the poster below: I am an International student and have applied for Ph.D. in ChemE. I have not heard any decision yet, but one of the profs from MIT informed me that admits are mostly given from early Jan to late Jan, and the rejections are sent in mid Feb. So maybe, we should not expect admits from MIT :(

To poster below: I'm international with my highest degree in US, got an admission letter from Carnegie Mellon ChemE PhD late January but still waiting for Georgia Tech.

Have 3 conference publication.

3.91 GPA, 167Q, small state school, 2 research internships, 2.5 years industry experience

Has anyone received any update/result from Yale's ChemE? How about the people who did the interview back in January? Did you guys hear anything back?

I don't think there is Ivy day for graduate students

Is there such thing as "Ivy Day" for graduate level admissions? I read it's a thing for undergrad, I'm wondering if it holds for grad school. Thanks!

Had taken an interview on 6th Feb. It was more of a discussion over interview. The interview was to assess my ability to clear SPEAK test- a requirement for teaching assistantship. The interview was similar to toefl speaking test.
