TT Cornell PhD PB: Did you mail them first or you got mail from them without you reaching out?

Got the email from PhD office: "We are hoping to have decisions made this week. The committee has been working really hard to finalize their decisions." Hmm, maybe later this week?

Should have come on Friday like everyone else's, I guess they just messed up.

Two very strong Letters of Recommendation (US Prof and undergrad prof with 2 years research with one paper). One very good letter of recommendation.

They dont deserve me. Undergrad from tier 1 Indian university with excellent research background and very strong letters.

This was very unexpected. I met and talked to 2 professors from Austin at Neurips this year. The one liked me a lot and he took a photo of my badge. This was a big bad surprise..

Assume rejection since official admits have been sent out. ;/

After getting the rejection from UT Austin, I immediately received the official letter from CMU that I'm accepted for MLT. I applied for the MLT/PhD program.

Just got the official letter that they are no longer release admissions for PhD as expected. Waiting for the MS result at March...
