Dude Columbia is dead 😴 haven't heard a thing from them.

[Ignore WL] Anyone got any update or interview for the Ph.D. program since their 'timeline' emails. Are they even alive? :D

Just got an email that said I am on a short waitlist... The person who got the offer Congrats! If you decide don't attend plz decline earlier before 4/15 that will help me a lot.

(Not WL) I have not heard anything from UBC. Does anyone know what's going on? Is it an IR at this point?

Actual GPA : 7.3/10 (indian, from top IIT)

Domestic applicant, notified via email.

Not WL. To one asking below. The program is not rolling based as far as I know. They said they will take 6-10 weeks from the deadline which means from Feb 15th, all results should come by 30th Apr hopefully.

email notifying an application status update CONCRETE JUNGLE WET DREAM TOMATO

subfield Nucl-th, accepted from waitlist with formal letter expected to come next week. One piece of advice for applicants on WL, let your PI or admission committee know if you may access any external funding source. It is likely that you are well qualified for admission but the funding of the department is limited. They will probably help make you an extra offer of admission regardless the acceptance status of their current offers if your external funding meets their requirements!

Is anyone else on the waitlist? Or know when they decide? Are there chances of getting in?

Research Masters program. Got all the way to the interview with the PI. It went well, but they were actually not in a position to take students, contrary to the website. Would have liked to save my time, money, and sanity whilst waiting on a decision. But that's just how the cookie crumbles, I guess.
