I had an interview via Zoom with the PI I was interested in working with on January 13th. Informed me that he would be recommending me to come interview in-person.

International student. Coauthor for 2 papers, studied at JHU as an exchange student and got a 3.95 GPA. 2 LORs from Hopkins professors. Stoked!!!

Emailed admissions and they said the program is still in the process of sending out interview invites for February!!! There is hope people :)

Professor that I mentioned in application, and met at a conference sent me an email to chat further about my application.

"Thank you very much for your application to the HBS doctoral program. I’m writing as a member of the department admissions committee, and am happy to say that you have been shortlisted for potential admission. We were incredibly impressed with your application! As part of the final decision process, it would be helpful if we could schedule a brief conversation over the next few days or so..."

My PI at Hopkins notified me that I have been selected as an RA PhD candidate in CompBio and will be invited to interview in February.
