No email telling me that a decision was reached, but I happened to check Buckeye Link and saw that I was rejected. My ego is a bit bruised, but I had already committed to another program anyway. Go check your applicant portals, everybody! Good luck!

To the poster for CUNY below: I also haven't heard regarding my application. I was interviewed but have not heard a word since. I even emailed the admissions coordinator in the faculty and he said that they were working on my application. I have already accepted an offer elsewhere so I am quite okay with whatever is happening, but all the best to everyone awaiting CUNY results!

To the poster below: I just use the link they sent when I originally applied in November. I tried to post it on here but it wont let me include URLs. Search your email for your original application email. It should say “Applicant Center” with a hyper link. Then click “Applicant Status” at the bottom. Mine still sends Pending FYI. Hope this helps!

How is anyone accessing the BuckEye Link? Every time I try it won't allow me to sign in- saying I don't have the credentials for it. I also applied to the program, but haven't heard anything and now I'm worried maybe there has been a decision and I just didn't get the communications for it. Did everyone get a separate sign in for BuckEye Link?

Response to the response to my earlier post: My POI did not use the word "waitlist," but I guess that's a possibility? If that were the case, though, you'd think we'd have seen some posts about official acceptance on Grad Cafe. My (barely justified) theory is that they've eliminated some people from the running (see: one post about rejection from the OSU anthro program a couple weeks ago) but they've still got some decision-making to do. Post in the anthro discussion board if you have more Qs and I will answer!

American citizen, completed BA and MSc internationally. Did not receive an email until 12+ hours after the results had been posted online, so I saw the results publicly before I received the email with the details.

I emailed my POI to check on the status of my application. He said that I was "still in the running" and that admit decisions should be sent out "soon after" April 15th. Thought this info might be helpful to anyone else anxiously waiting on a decision from the OSU anthro program!

To the poster below - I haven’t heard from Chico either and neither has my friend who also applied. I sent an email to the graduate director on Monday but haven’t heard back. At this point I’m considering it a silent rejection.

I still have not heard a peep from Chico about my application.. I'm wondering if anybody knows if they do "unofficial waitlisting"? That is the only thing I can think of as to why I have not heard back. At this point, I have other options and won't be too upset at a rejection, however it would be nice to have some finality on what programs I have available to me.
