We received over 280 applications for only 4 slots. Those numbers may provide little consolation, but they tell you how competitive the admissions process was. My colleagues and I read all of the dossiers, especially the writing samples, with interest and attention. Your creativity and dedication to philosophy are inspiring; I wish that we had space to admit more than just 4 students.

Canadian domestic student. Had a lower GPA in years 2 & 3, but I brought it up to a 3.83 annual GPA in 4th year, bringing my CGPA up to 3.50.

They said the waitlist is very short, but judging by the amount posted here, I'm not so sure lol.

Sorry to interrupt the humor--I saw a little while back that someone posted an interview for NYU. Has anyone else gotten one? They've never done them before (to my knowledge) so I'm a little skeptical. And I want to know whether I can give up yet, since it's the last place I'm waiting on lol.
