Not extremely surprised. I have a Philosophy bachelors with some computer science coursework. I really leveraged fit here since there is a CS professor that employs a Philosophy/CS joint Phd student in their lab and states they specifically do joint work with philosophers. It wads worth a try.

Rejected for MSc Computer Science, but accepted to MSc CyberSecurity. 8.8/10 GPA from a Dutch uni, some TA and research experience, no publications, no internships. Good luck guys we got this :)
