TPB: I am the second one who posted his offer of admission. I do not intend to prove myself as it is not even possible; honestly, I am not trolling. You are right; Caltech did not require GRE; however, I had it in my CV. And when I was posting, I entered my scores with the intention of providing some information for those interested. (As you might know, this program's size is very small, about 4 to 5 students are accepted each year. Therefore, you are not expected to see a large number of posts regarding the admission to this program here, which, I think, is the only trust-able signal here.) | ||||

The program's name is "social sciences PhD." I put it in the economics category as it is very close to economics, mostly microeconomics. Not an official offer; received an email from the chair of the admissions committee. My advisor had recommended me to apply for this program; however, I do not know the program well and cannot rank this program among different universities, specifically in the filed of micro theory.
