Hi. I emailed them but haven't heard back yet. A current 2nd year MArch Toronto student has told me it based on the number of drop-out students from 1st MArch that available for Advanced Standing slot. It is very competitive because the number is little (class size of MArch is around 60 people... Imagine!). And we even compete with BArch 5-year student as well. I think it is not about our credential, but the actual number they can offer. However, if you applied for UBC, the good news is I got confirmation from UBC that our RIBA program would receive advanced placement. Maybe just wait. Good luck :)

To the applicant with RIBA Part I Architecture degree: We are in the same situation. My offer indicates that the program is expected to end in 2023. Are we not good enough for the advanced standing option? Have you asked them why they offered you a 3-year program?

Domestic candidate applied for Ph.D. in mid-August. Contacted Dept, says under review! But don't know how long it will take.

I am an international student, my undergrad is in a top Canadian university, major in math and computer science with 1-year working experience. I did the interview in February and got the acceptance email in March.

I declined the offer :)

I was not sure if I'd get in as I saw acceptance/rejection results for this program last week. Today I got an email telling me to check the admission website and found out that I got in. To those who are still waiting, don't give up yet! It may be that they are offering spots after the first round of acceptances/rejections.

I just checked my online application, my status is still "Documents Received (excl. official transcripts)." Are folks the same as me?
