Off the waitlist. Second offer in this season. Choosing between BU and UMD now. Any suggestions for a person who wants to do international macro and goes to IMF afterward? My gut feeling tells me to choose Maryland but BU is in a place so tempting...Thanks! I will make my mind tomorrow.

To the maryland poster below, I received an email from Prof. Aruoba last Friday about my current interest in the program and other offers I got. I didn't receive the skype interview invitation though. I think that may indicate that the skype interviewed people are of priority..........

I had an interview with two faculty members where they asked about my interests, other offers and will inform whether an offer is available from them before the deadline April 15th. FYI: Interviews were schedule between Tuesday and Thursday this week, so I think they will be able to make any decision tomorrow (I hope!). For those that did not receive the "skype interview" email and are wait-listed, I do not know if it is a bad signal or not. Good luck to everyone waiting! (2a/2wl/8r)

Couldn't be more excited. I interviewed on 4/9 and heard back 4/10! Official letter will come once they receive my final transcripts. I have accepted the offer as this was my first choice.

Accepted off wait list post-interview. I am beyond thrilled! Still waiting for the official letter with funding offer, but will be accepting. Didn't know this was possible this late in the game. Yay!
