I had posted below that they had not sent me an email after updating my status to "Decision made" for 2 weeks. I contacted them and they sent me an email that I have not been accepted. I have been accepted in UMich and Northeastern and still waiting for Purdue, Virginia Tech and University of Toronto.

To the post below, I also haven't got any response yet although I was told that I should get a decision by 15th March by the graduate coordinator. Some rejections have been given too as you can see in this forum, so I'm still hoping for positive result. Fingers crossed.

Is there anyone still waiting for Penn State result? Haven't hard anything yet, does it imply a rejection?

Rejected... I am the same guy who reported Umich below...Penn State does well in the area of rocket propulsion and helicopter aerodynamics...

This wasn't expected, I thought it was a moderate or safe level school. Starting to panic real bad.

To the poster below whose interest is in thermal science, may I know who is your professor of interest? My area of interest is in thermal science as well. Do you have any publications and where did you do your MS from?

Research interests in thermal science

Professor interviewed me. He was collaborating with another professor I mentioned in my application. I got an offer with both of them as my supervisors. Unfortunately, no funding/assistantship given with the offer.

No prior conversation with any university professors or officials to the decision.
