Interviewed week Feb25-27, received email to check portal for my general offer today. Received funding and mentor information later today on a separate email. Thought I was rejected because people interviewed later than me have received their offers last week.

Rejected in Ph.D., considered for master. *** COVID-19, which makes the applicants so many and application so hard. Bye-bye to Stanford, may choose to go UPenn instead of JHU. Anyway, I may try to transfer to Warton.

I never got a notification to check or an email or anything but I figured I'd go through and check the portal anyways. Rejection letter from a week ago. Oh well.

I am sorry to inform you that we cannot offer you admission to the Robotics, MSE Program at the University of Pennsylvania for the Fall 2021 term.

Got rejected in two consecutive years lol. Last year I got waitlisted till July though. Good luck to everyone who gets in!

From a top Indian university. Department Rank 1. CGPA 9.98/10. Two research internship experiences, one in signal processing and instrumentation from India and another in mobile robotics from USA (remote). One strong LoR and one normal LoR. Had one conference paper accepted for publication during application. This was an ambitious school for me. All the best to others!

Email to check portal. Saw all the prev rejections so my hopes weren't high anyway. Had an interview in January that I thought went reasonably well, though the interviewer said that he wasn't on the committee and could only make suggestions. This was my last one so I guess I'll try again next year :(

Has anyone heard from the department after receiving the acceptance letter? If you attended the virtual event on Feb 24, please share details of the same. Also if anyone received funding for the MS program, do share details.

TPB. They have been in contact with people that were waitlisted and today they sent the invitation for the online visiting. So I guess if you haven't heard from them means IR, they are also not offering funding and asking if applicants that can get funding from somewhere else. If you have a source of funding let them know it might help.
