Second wait list today. 0a/2w/0r/9p

Received an email directing me to the application portal to check my status--generic acceptance letter from the graduate school, with additional info apparently forthcoming.

!!!

Absolutely elated. After the rejection from Syracuse, I was starting to doubt I’d get a fully-funded offer. So so happy and grateful right now (and surprised at the timing— after the email from UNM yesterday, I thought I wouldn’t hear for another 2 weeks).

Expected, but, still.

Well dang.

Eeeek! 1a/1r/0w/12p

Phone call from Sabina Murray. Grateful / in shock / feel so blessed!

What just happened?????

Had an incredible talk with Edie Meidav! I still can't believe it!!!!!!!

Received an unbelievably kind email that put me in shock. Honestly ever since I submitted my applications I had convinced myself I would not get in anywhere and would be doing this whole writing thing on my own - so please don't count yourself out....

AAAAH! I didn't get in anywhere last year! I'm so so so so excited! 1a/4p

Missed the call by 5 minutes, but she was happy to call again right after. I'm super excited to be part of this program!

Fast acceptance but no funding offered/fellowships denied. 1a/0w/0r 7pending

A very pleasant letter from Syracuse staffers. It sucks, but it was quick and cordial. 0a/0w/1r/7o
