2 years of work experience at FAANG, 1-year research at an Ivy, 3 A* publications.

Accepted off the waitlist. Good luck to everyone else!

TA for 7+ stats courses, including graduate level ML class. Data science internship with software company and Mayo Clinic. Primary author on Mayo Clinic paper, but had yet to be officially submitted/published.

Didn't have any research experience and I think that played a major role in me not getting in.

Better than I expected TBH. Went to an honors program at a big 10 school, no gre, great recommendations, no published works but multiple research oriented projects. Somewhat relevant work experience for the past 8 months. Also studied Mechanical Engineering as opposed to a more relevant major.

Architecture undergrad completed at University of Toronto.

I still haven't heard anything from Columbia University. Does anyone know whether all the admission were sent before this date?

No Published article, but a good resume, experience in research, Great experience in teaching ESL, two international certificates in teaching, TA, No prior confirmation from a supervisor,( according to what is written on the website the confirmation of a supervisor is not needed before apply) but you do it! I'm really sad:-( it was my favorite university.

Emailed to ask about my application status and was told I'm waitlisted. Not sure of the likelihood to get off the waitlist, but here's hoping! Congrats to all who have already been admitted.

Accepted off the waitlist. Will take offer. Non-practicing background.

Ignore Waitlist, wth is going on with Columbia? My application was moved to review over two months ago and still nothing. This is getting ridiculous.

Just use the updated form (including competing offers with very generous scholarships) to urge a decision, email to check the portal in 2 hours. It's my safe school. Columbia is so pathetic.

updated from waitlist I posted below -- accepted now!

Got an email that I had been "recommended for admission," but no official offer received yet. Nervous and needing closure!

Received a mail that I got waitlisted. Super confused.

Received an offer after being wait listed. I have already accepted an offer at a school with more affordable tuition fees, so I will be rejecting today. All the best to folks still on the waiting list!
