To the posters below... I understand that they wanted to invite the applicants accepted to the online information session, so do you all think that everyone is receiving these messages or only the ones who were accepted?

To the poster below - that is how I feel. I am about to just make my decision.. I feel like they are so disorganized.

I know there is a pandemic, but will we even hear back from them before the 15th? I need to make decisions and have been waiting for theirs.

Received an email saying their virtual information session has been cancelled due to the pandemic. It seems like they are taking way too long. There always seems to be a lack of communication from them and they always take too long to respond. It seems like a huge red flag for me. Anyone else? We have to make our decisions by April 15th, so they are pushing it a bit....

The NCSU way of saying you are not good enough for our Ph.D. program. Applied for Ph.D. Got rejected this way.

Everybody who was at visit day was guaranteed funding (according to somebody, I forgot at this point), and that was around 10-14 ish people. IIRC they were all domestic.

TTPB: Is not having funding the case even for domestic students? I know of at least one January admit that has received funding at this point, but I am still waiting myself.

Dear friends, I got admitted to this program in 12 of march but they say funding will be decided. I contacted the DGS he says all the admitted will not get funding. I am really confused. Will our profile be reviewed again for funding? What is the criteria for giving fund? Is that GRE or Sop? My gre quant score is low (162) and I am somehow worried. Would you please share your views. Thanks.

I heard you should find funding by yourself, and the funding condition is really bad, especially this year. So go ask some professors for RA position as soon as possible.
