TTPB: Same here. I received the same email from Annie Lee and I also did not receive a decision letter. How did you access the MyUCLA portal and find the form link?

Recieved a mail from Annie Lee ( Graduate Student Affairs Officer) mentioning that I'd have recieved a mail containing formal decision letter from UCLA Graduate Division. However, I received no such mail containing a decision letter. The MyUCLA portal shows "Congratulations on your admission to UCLA!" with a form link for Statement of Intent to Register, though no such update is visible on the application portal. Did anyone else also recieved something similar?

TTBP) I did my undergrad at CMU and got an offer three weeks ago from my current REU advisor. From what I have heard from the meeting, most of 1st round acceptances are out, though the situation might vary by PIs. However, they will make alternative offers if any of the accepted students decline the offer from CMU and this will never be negligible. I am also waiting for results from other schools and will decide in March. Fingers crossed on your acceptance!

No publications, No research. Got accepted to masters instead of PhD without funding.

I was in contact with one of professor, and have large number of journal publication during my masters.

I applied for a PHD but due to limited funding, I was pushed to the Masters program.

Any news for CMU MechE PhD? Have they already begun accepting people or will that happen later on in the month?

Haven't received anything yet, however after I contacted the admissions office I got a vague response saying "Decisions will be released in the next few weeks."

Received an email from my IOP mentioned that I was recommended by the committee and to be admitted. One day later an unofficial confirm sent from one of the ME graduate coordinators saying that I am admitted and the official email will be sent shortly. One year of research assistant experience. Do not have good publication. Good engineering background but poor research record.

Hey guys when can we expect a decision this year? is it bit late this year?

CGPA 3.883/4.0, research experience of 12 months, 2 journal publications, offered a scholarship of 10,000 annually.

Ttpb: I mailed the ME grad office and they told that they will be making the decisions in the next few weeks and we will receive decisions soon by mail.

Does anyone know why they do not release "rejection" yet to the students who didn't receive the interview? this is false hope

TTTB: I contacted Rachael Clarke. Her response was too generic, anytime from now to April. They are still reviewing. So much tensed!!
