MAE. Fairly surprised. I guess as an American I don't fit the typical applicant profile. Too expensive anyway.

To the post below, I submitted application several days before the deadline of application.

Has anyone been accepted to Duke's MAE (not Econ & Computation) program yet? They seem late this year.

To the poster below: I am waitlisted too, am not invited to the visit day as well...is there any waitlisted candidates that is invited to visit the campus?

Is anyone waitlisted for Duke invited to their visiting day? I'm waitlisted & not invited and am curious if they are not inviting students on the waitlist or if it means I'm on the last part of the waitlist.

Thank you for your reply!

To the post below: Sorry to hear that. When did you submit the application?

BITS Hyderabad (India) / 1 publication / Multiple software projects and decent LoRs

Was told interview would be with director and an unnamed faculty member. Interview not "strengths/weaknesses?" typical. Emphasis on personal details, research interests, goals.

Polite, very nice and encouraging-style un-official rejection or maybe declination might be the more precise word. Official Rejection should come soon. Possibility of official rejection is estimated at 99.99%. Best wishes and good luck to those admitted, sincerely.

to below poster: Duke sent out offers one at a time in January (interviewed + offered to a few people, waiting to hear back from them before interviewing/offering to anyone else).

Notice from P.O.I. of being put on waitlist. Attended interview weekend.

Has anyone heard back from Fuqua's quant?

No funding, but still feeling good.

No word on funding.

So excited!!! Thank you Duke!!
