How are they so sure that I'll have excellent offers from other schools...

Generic rejection email

Princeton and MIT in almost the same hour, oof! Not like it wasn't IR anyway

“Thank you for applying to the Ph.D. program in Economics. We have received a large number of applications from highly promising candidates and have carefully reviewed all of these applications. We have admitted a limited number of applicants to our program. We regret to inform you that your application was not selected. Although we could not admit you to our program, we believe that you will have excellent offers from other schools. Thank you again for your consideration, and we wish you success in your future plans!“ This one hurt a bit

Sadge :{ "Thank you for your application to the graduate program in Media Arts and Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for Fall 2021. We regret that we are not able to offer you admission. We received more than 1100 applications and were able to admit less than 5%. In selecting so few from a large and talented group, we must turn down many qualified applicants. We wish you the best for your future plans. Program in Media Arts and Sciences"

Did anybody hear from Media Lab yet?

Did anybody hear from Media Lab yet?

Interviewed and spoke to students in the group I was interested in. It's a rather competitive program, here is hoping! Good luck to everyone!

“shocker,” he said sarcastically

Anyone have any new from their POIs? I hate this waiting game

I hate them being nice and saying "you are very good!" to everyone! That has ZERO information in it and therefore rude!

Anyone hear anything from the master program yet?

Any movement here?? Looks like should be on third Friday at 3:14pm (pi?)
