To the Mech Engr poster below. Sorry about the reject. If it is true that they favour admitting MS/PhD and PhD student over terminal MS students then that is extremely cruel on the part of the department. Why not state it during the application stage. What is even worse is to wait till April 4th before serving these applicants reject. I'm an MS in ECE applicant, DICE option up till now no update on my application and it is ruining my plans. So pathetic.

Notified by professor first and then from department

Wondering if anyone hear back from MS ECE (comp vision track) ?

already started to prepare for the next year

Hello! Are all admits out already? Can I assume I got rejected or should I still consider UT as an option?

4 rejections so far. At this point everything else will also be rejections!

Please who knows if UBC is done sending their acceptances/rejections. I see from here a couple were sent yesterday/today. My portal still says submitted. Mailed them but no reply.

TTPB : Signals and Systems and ML

Does anyone have updates on ACSES track? Mine is still in review and I haven't heard any ad/rej report from others.

One publication, half a year research intern, 1 year SWE, BSc Senior

Undergrad from India. Keeping this as an option because of the relatively low program fees.

A crisp email. "We regret to inform you that on the basis of the recommendation of the Graduate Admissions Committee we are not able to offer you admission to our graduate program. We trust that you will find an alternative path to achieve your academic goals." Heads up. We move.

Interview with POI in early March. Got offer with funding from department April 2nd.

Pleased. But probably won't be taking offer. Got into one of my dream schools. Super freakin' pumped to join UCSD. Background: CS from IIT. 6 months of equivalent research experience. 1 patent application. Solid LoRs and SoP. O-lay.

This semester we received a large number of applications for entry into our graduate program. Most of these applicants are well qualified for study and research at the graduate level. However, because of our limited instructional and research facilities we are not able to admit all qualified applicants. We regret to inform you that on the basis of the recommendation of the Graduate Admissions Committee we are not able to offer you admission to our graduate program. We trust that you will find an alternative path to achieve your academic goals.
