Same waitlist notification as posted below

To the post below, I have yet to hear back from Columbia as well. It's a bit ridiculous that they set these timelines and have no intention of meeting them.

Has anyone heard anything from Columbia??

No scholarship though. Probably, not going accept the offer.

Master Biology, PhD Ecology. 50% of BSc in Business Informatics (still attending, top 10%), additionally several MOOC courses in Machine Learning and SQL. 7 years of experience in R and applied statistics. Pretty bummed as this was my first choice (great cost-benefit ratio). Good luck to everyone.

Got the notification when i emailed them

I applied to Summer program. Don't have computer science undergrad, do have Msc in statistics with coding experience. Always nicer to be accepted, but I fortunately had already accepted my first choice elsewhere. Good luck to those who got accepted!

Received an email at around 9 pm eastern that application remains under review. The decision will sent out by Thursday, April 12th. But, nothing happened yet.

To the posters below, where you on the waitlist and waiting to hear back? Did you hear from the department or the graduate school?

Is anyone still waiting to hear back from the program? I know some people posted about being put on the waitlist, but it doesn't seem as if there have been any other admissions/rejections.

Please reject if you have better options. My top choice program!!

As suspected I have been wait-listed. They anticipate a Final Decision by late April and no funding available. Not sad at all but may have to decline as it is a quite expensive program and got better offers money wise.

I sent them an email at the end of last week, I received this answer yesterday: "Thank you for your continued interest in Columbia Engineering. Your application is still under review at this time. We appreciate the time and effort you spent in preparing your application and want to assure you that the faculty admissions committee is working very hard to give each application careful attention. We will contact you via email as soon as a decision is entered on your application." Suppose we still have to wait a bit more...
