Contacted on the 17th for interview by POI, held interview on the 20th. Was told final results would not arrive before late January

Email from my POI asking to schedule an interview between Dec 26-Jan 4. She emailed me back within less than 5 days of my application submission. This is my first correspondence back out of my 8 submissions so far - I AM ECSTATIC!

Invited to schedule a mid-January followup interview

Received an email saying I was not selected for an interview. My portal results have not yet been updated, however. Not surprised, as my academic focus within Anthropology didn't quite mesh with the department and faculty, but I applied anyway due to receiving a fee waiver and an invite.

Got a conditional offer, have to send in some forms (diploma, transcripts, etc.). Am a US applicant. Nothing about funding yet.

Email told me to check the app portal, got an acceptance letter. Applied mid-October. Waiting on funding and other UK schools.

To the guy/girl who asked about hearing back: I applied around mid October. My department deadline for the application has not even passed yet, and I do not think U of Toronto does rolling admissions. They will most likely get back to you sometime in January or February for an interview or something. That said, I think they do look at the applications already sent in, since I was contacted to fix one of my documents.

I was invited to interview by one of my potential advisors (I listed 2 in the application). Both of them joined in for a Skype interview since I am not in the UK (BA in the US, MA in Japan, currently in Japan). Lasted almost an hour but time went by quickly. Just waiting for the results now.

American citizen, undergraduate and MSc from universities in Europe. Was told unofficially that I was rejected several months ago. Automated email notification of my status changing in my online application was just received.

To the poster below; I have also been accepted into the Mphil Social Anthro; yet to hear anything on funding or college...

Accepted with a $12000 tuition reduction grant for two years. Unfortunately, still beyond what I can afford. Going to decline.

Welp, this sucks. Did not get into any of the schools I really hoped to and spent a lot of extra time on my applications for. Did get acceptances to schools I thought wouldn't even consider me. Confused. Also, sad. Congrats to the accepted! Go be awesome
