Email from POI saying, said I would get an official letter on Friday.

TTPB: I was accepted yesterday - communications networking signal and image processing.

Got a mail from the department that I've been recommended for admission and their decision has been forwarded to the Dean of Graduate Division who will be sending the official letter in a month. Profile: Top tier college from India.. 9.98/10 GPA.. 1 strong LoR and 2 good LoRs.. one conference paper accepted and one journal paper under review.

First interview Feb 6th, Second interview Feb 10th,

I applied to the robotics track. Got an email from the department saying I am recommended for admission but haven't got the final offer letter yet.

To the person commented below: Yes, I have also been invited to the program but still have not received an offer, pretty strange.

Interviewed few days ago with potential advisor and today recieved email admissions from university. Low gpa, no gre scores.

TTPB: They said they will send out offers by the end of next week. Who sent you the offer letter? Also, can you share your research area?

No GRE. TOEFL 95. GPA 3.58 outside the US. 3 strong LoRs. 4-year work experience in the EE industry. 1-year undergraduate research experience.

I'm the person who posted the previous comment; for some reason I'd searched for ECE and only one person had posted there - hence queried about funding. I haven't received the "offer letter" but an email that I have been recommended for admission. "Although we are unable to provide financial support for you at this time, many of our graduate students are able to secure teaching and research assistantships soon after arrival at Purdue." - can anyone advise what are the usual odds of gaining funding after joining?

3 journal papers, undergrad from one of the top Indian universities, research experience of 2.5 years, thesis at UAlberta.

ML and CV. Interviewed by the proposed prof. Will be offered RA.
