Got an email regarding acceptance on 22nd Feb and got an email regarding $30,000 Merit-based scholarship on 24th Feb. Mostly will be joining this course.

(Not an interview) I applied to Management Track but I never heard back from the program. I don't think I've ever seen posts about management track either. Is it possible that this track is not gonna take in people this year? Anyone else applied to this track can share information? Thanks in advance.

(Not an interview). I am wondering if anyone selected Food and Agricultural Economics track received an interview in Jan or early Feb? Are they still planning to admit any students on food track? I heard that the marketing dept of the UC-San Diego didn't plan to admit any marketing applicant with quantitative research track but didn't announce it before. The marketing dept there only sent the interviews to those applicants with consumer behavior track. The applicants who indicated the other research interests, they are wasting money actually. Is it possible that Cornell are doing the same?

Yes, Bill Nye the 'Science' Guy did indeed graduate from Cornell. This is just a fact.

TPB: You're either a troll or someone who has never seen an acceptance letter before. I'm going to assume the former and not engage

still awaiting! Is there anyone also waitlisted?

TPB: Are you kidding me?

If Cornell is this informal, they can reject me now. Since when do theywrite in first person. Since whendo they tell you your rankings in the waitlist. "I am writing to let you know that you have been placed on our waitlist and are ranked high on our list of applicants to the PhD program"

TPB: Why can't they? Most schools do exactly that. Acceptances+waitlists come first and then rejections

Does which track I applied for affect my chance off the waitlist? and can anyone change his/her track after admission?

Hear is why i know someone is lying. How can they send out acceptance and waitlist before rejections

TPB: I'm also dev track so it probably is IR. Sorry about that.

[NOT INTERVIEW] TPB: I applied for the Dev Track and haven't heard back yet. Can I consider it as an IR?

TPB: "I am writing to let you know that you have been placed on our waitlist and are ranked high on our list of applicants to the PhD program" What did you / others who were waitlisted get?

TBD; For those on the waitlist, can you share what was written in your mail and your concentration(track)?

Excited to see this in my inbox today! Stats: graduated from a top UC this past May. no full-time work experience, but did internships and a lot of research, which is what I'm guessing made my application stand out. Cumulative GPA 3.81, GRE 164Q 165V 5.0AW.

CME, 3 publications in prestigious journals

Let's be honest, Cornell is an animal science school that happens to also have a creative writing program that they probably teach out of one of the stables
