I was rejected when I applied for undergrad, now rejected for PhD. Life goes on, I suppose.

MSc, 8.5y of research experience, 4y of experience in the field, 3 strong letters, 4 pub 2 being first author. First rejection of the season, didn't expect much. Good luck to everyone

Interviewed two weeks ago.

Didn't get any acceptances last year and took a research gap year, so this means the world to me (hep-ex)

had good LoRs from the department chair, research advisor, and on-campus employer. Had relevant research experience in the field of Computational Physics. Applied for Quantum Computing.
