To the 3 posts below: I am appreciative for your responses, thank you. Well, the thing is that I don't even know if I am on the waiting list. I have not received any kind of notification yet.

To the Post Below, according to my best knowing and experiences in the past, International and Domestic Applicants are not differentiated from each other and the decision about the admission to both of these two types of applicants are made around the same time. For both international and domestic applicants, waiting till April is necessary only when they are on waiting list as back-up choice. Statistically speaking, In vast majority cases, the official rejection letter comes at that time.

Waiting until Admitted Students Day (March 28-29 for the poster who asked when it was) to talk to students/faculty and see if the program will be the best fit for me. My stats were quant/verb/uGPA 161/163/4.0 with several independent undergrad research projects. Good luck to all waitlisted or still waiting to hear back!

The latest update I have is that the decisions will be available by the end of March.

International student. Not surprised as I've collected a bunch of serious math and computer science courses during my undergraduate, and it seems that they paid off.

TTPB: For PhD admits, wait till April atleast if you’re an international applicant.

TPB: I am on the waitlist too...am not invited to the visit day nor am informed on my position in the waitlist...not sure what else we can do besides waiting

Is anyone waitlisted from Duke invited to the visit day, and/ or did you get any sort of notification of where you are at on the waitlist?

Checked the website. No word yet on financial assistance, or whether/when there will be a Visit Day.

Informed about admission via personal email from professor on March 7th. Official letter send on March 13th. Duke MIDS has been my top choice from the beginning so I'm overjoyed. I did my undergrad from Duke too.

To the poster on March 14th asking if anyone has heard back..I had to contact them and ask. I was waitlisted after my interview, but was never contacted, and have yet to get a decision. Accepted elsewhere for a PhD, so my waitlist spot will likely open.

Emailed the director of graduate studies and she told me I'm not on the waitlist; rejections will officially be mailed out soonish.

Has any one heard from the Bioengineering PhD ? any acceptances or rejections? it should be Illegal to make people wait this long !!!

Any recent news about admission decisions? We have already passed mid March. Therefore, I believe that I will be rejected probably.

Got email to check portal. Math background. No research. 3 CS interns and 1 year full time developer.
