Desperately waiting. If you decide not to attend, please, please decline the offer before 4/15

UNC sucks since they have the tradition that they will send lots of unfunded offers after April 15th and if you are rejected, you will only know your result in late April or even mid May!

TPB: Maybe nothing. I asked the department my current status and they answered they are not planning to send out any offer to waitlist applicants no earlier than April 15.

I did not receive decision on my application yet but a section under the title "NC Residency Checklist" is added in my application page. What this mean?

No interview

TTPB: No communication yet. The checklist on the portal now consists of less number of details. No idea about anything else.

The professor is really rude and he does not provide any information of status. I emailed him multiple time he repeated the same sentence everytime that is "Funding decisions will be made by May 1. Please don't email again". I am confused is it really hard for him to just say what is happening right now.

Has anyone received an update on the status? The site shows nothing but "Submitted".

TPB: I got the same response from hime too. I think it is not likely that they will send any funding information before April 15th. The reply from the professor is really rude and I don't want to work with such a pushy person in the future. Thus, though NCSU is dominating than other offer, I still declined it.

I sent an email to professor Zheng and told him I have one other offer which has deadline of April 15 and it would appreciated if you let me know the possibility of receiving funding before April 15. He replied that "you should accept the offer you already have" Does this mean I will not receive funding offer?

TTPB: on the Gillings admitted student Facebook page, I saw some students made a group and they've been talking about funding. Maybe check with them?

Any information regarding the program? This program is my last chance. I emailed both department and the professor in charge of Ph.D. admission, and received only the generic answer (your application is still under review) from the department and no answer from the professor.

I am so excited! I just accepted. I made a FB group. It's called "NCCU SLP Class of 2022."

To the previous poster, I received an offer from UNC in February. The virtual visit day was held on March 20. I know of someone wait-listed for AP, but I've not heard about the other subfields.
