TTPB: How did you know the data for Open House?

Open house in 15 March. Anybody notified?

I'm the admit to the HTC program from yesterday. I was quite shocked to receive the phone call (all the admits in this forum from previous years occur in March!), but it is an official acceptance, letter to follow. I Zoomed with a few faculty members in the fall but have had zero contact since applying. They called me rather late yesterday, so other notifications may come later. I was admitted for architectural history.

Applied to MG&G, but I think all applications are considered together.

TP(Very)B: MIT's target cohort size does not appear to be smaller. As is the case in every year, MIT's cohort is constrained by available funding. Whoever claimed to have "insider" information about MIT/Stanford/Chicago/Princeton appears to be speculating.

TTPB: Congrats! Did you have an interview whatsoever before the acceptance? Seems quite an early decision.

To the MIT admit: Congrats! Did you apply for architecture or art history?

I'm also seriously leaning towards MIT since placement is consistently stronger. Also heard that advisors generally care more about students

Expected because POIs had no funding. Was planning on going elsewhere anyway.

TTPB who also got an interview: Did you actually get your interview schedule yet?

Anyone else thinking to defer due to Covid-19 disruption in Fall 2021/immigration issues?

To Harvard / MIT cross admits: which one are you leaning toward?

Invitation to interview (bcc, so likely multiple people) was last Saturday (2/13) and actual interview was 2/17.

Any idea when the masters acceptance decisions for international applicants will be out? I cannot see Masters (I) accepted on the forum

Congrats!!! have you received an interview beforehand sometimes? I've also applied to HTC-architecture track (assume they usually admit 2 for architecture, 2 for art)

TTPB: I got the reply as follow. "While most of our decisions have been made, the committee are still reviewing some applications and will hopefully finalize all decisions by late next week". Though I am not optimistic on the number of acceptance remained, there is still some chance. Keep calm and wait.
