Childhood dream come true :) Strong LORs, 2 related internships, 4.00 GPA, good GREs

TTPB: When did you get it? I've just been waiting for them to come out and now I can't stop refreshing.

I am still waiting on my decision from the EECS program! Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Email: Thank you for your interest in the Master of Science Program in Computational Science and Engineering at MIT and for the information you offered in support of your application. We regret that we are unable to offer you admission to the program for Fall 2021. The Admissions Committee had an extremely difficult task this year, this admission cycle was the most competitive in the program's history, with less than 3% of applicants being admitted and many very strong applications being turned down. Again, thank you for your interest in the program. We wish you much success in your future endeavors.

Apparently acceptance rate was 3% this year

Waitlisted... I wonder what COVID will do the the waitlist

Strong LORs & 2y research experience. Rejected from Stanford (MS&E). Will join Columbia - MPA-EPM next year !

My dream program ! So glad

so excited!!

I did not anticipate an acceptance here but the program is great. Best of luck to others!

Called by my interviewer just an hour ago!! A dream come true :)

"This year the department received hundreds of applications from exceptional students..."

Kind of expected it due to the reduced number of openings this year, but still devastated.

TTPB: was this an interview for the interdepartmental program in transportation?

Did anyone hear from transportation? I had an interview few weeks ago but no other information. Homepage said the decisions are mailed this week... Did anyone have acceptance?

TTPB : Where are y'all seeing results on the site? I am seeing nothing. Not even "other"?
