TDPB: A potential PI told me that Astronomy admission will be settled in the next ~3 weeks. I have not heard back from them either.

TTPB: Does anyone get waitlist email? The website says all decision will be made by Mar, but I get no news so far.

Got an email today stating the program director would like to schedule a 1:1 chat with me. Submitted by priority deadline (Jan 5), completed one-way interview end of Feb. Anyone else have this experience?

It was a long shot but still disappointing. International master's degree student with multiple research experiences (2 in accademia and 1 in industry), average GPA, good LORs and no pubs. Congratulations to those admitted and good luck to those, like me, not accepted.
