My first waitlist! This is the last school I'm waiting to hear back from and would be my first choice if I get in. 3a/1w/11r/0p

this is for the masters program not the phd!

process is brutal. Really starting to question myself. 3a/1w/7t/6p

GPA is MA. Waitlist email from DGS. It would be so nice to go here.

Happened to log in to the portal, where I found the shortest rejection letter ever. Expected it since I saw acceptances a while ago. (4a/1w/1r)

I really thought I was a fit with the supervisor I wanted to work with but alas.

Master of Ed. from Michigan with a 4.0 GPA. Form response and the claim that they "are not permitted to provide individualized feedback" to candidates.

International applicant. E-mail to check privileges. Apparently, I had none.

For anyone waiting on the official news from NYU, I emailed the grad chair, Wendy Lee. She said: “ Thank you for your email. I really enjoyed reading your application. Elif (author I wrote about) is the best! & your work really shows the richness. The process at GSAS takes a while, but we have made our selections already for admitted students. I know this may be disappointing news, but I hope you also know how much we enjoyed reading your work! I know you will do well.” It was a really nice message but also frustrating to hear when I haven't been accepted anywhere yet. Just wanted to let everyone know that choices have been made. 0a/2w/10r

Email from department. Pending final approval from Graduate College then will receive official offer. 1a/1w/4r/2p

Gpa from masters

An email to check the portal

Informal offer via email from DGS the 2nd followed by formal offer in the portal the 3rd. Over the moon!
