Waitlisted last year, so this is rough.

Oh well. I would say, “I love shrimp,” but I don't know what it means.

"dear mfa applicant" email. hurting. 2r/0a/4p

Absolutely in shock. Six admitted, six waitlisted. This is my top school so if you are going to decline, please do so!! 1a/2w/2r/9p

Applied for Jan deadline, received invite via email this afternoon. As said in a previous email sent by the course admin, interviews are being held on the w.b 8th March. So excited!

Funded offer (20k/yr). Line about how "we plan to accept you assuming your papers are in order", a lil weird since they require official transcripts upfront. 3a/1r/10p

Cross-posted in Draft!

WILDLY, i was accepted. I LOVE SHRIMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP 2a/0w/3r/4p

Waiting to hear about funding. 2a/0w/2r/6p

Got a phone call about a day after the email. He's calling again tomorrow with more info about funding when he has more time. Apparently they don't have a TA position open for me at the moment but will in the future. Really happy about this one. 2a/0w/2r/6p.

Received email from Don Lee. He said offers for teaching assistantships have already gone out, but that I'm “very high” on the waitlist for funding.

Have rejections gone out yet?

First acceptance! 1a/2r/2p

Just got the call from Deborah Landau! She said there are 16 fiction admits from >1,000 apps.
