Has anyone else not heard back yet? Their website says that all decisions are emailed on the 19th

Just a very simple rej email, no special feeling, a long shot anyway.

soft CMT/ biophysics, no interview

Even though it wasn't unexpected, it still hurts a bit

Expected... still sad though

TTPB: If you haven't received an acceptance yet, you didn't get in. The acceptances were sent out in January. You'll probably receive an email in late February / early March to log-in to the application portal for admission decision (which will be a reject if you haven't heard anything by now).

:(

Tough cycle, stay calm. 0a/6j/0wl/10p

No email from Media Lab yet.

Fully expected since no invitation to interview. Email sent at ~5 pm EST.

A bit sad to be rejected by my dream school. 3a/1w/2r/4p

Expected. 0a/5r/6ir/0w/7p

Seems like this year connections are even more important than they normally are. Sad state of affairs

Has anybody gotten an admit or knows anybody with an admit at media lab?

No surprises here. 2a/5r/0wl/9p

sigh. TPB: of the top 15 schools, I have heard from 6. I got accepted to two: one my alma mater + current workplace (so 3 writers faculty here). As for the other acceptance, one of my LWs is an alum of their PhD program. Otherwise, 1W and 3 rejections. I guess all this insider-ness/connectivity makes you more of a "known quantity".

Expected but still stings
