To the poster bellow how did you get to do internship with POI. I was looking for one. Did you just email prof or was there any official program for students outside US?

Did a 5-month long intern with the POI. From IIT Roorkee.

I was accepted for MS in CS in January (my application was for MS). I was recently emailed and notified (by Viterbi graduate admissions) saying that I am identified as a suitable candidate as a Ph.D student for a doctoral program. I have the option to submit a 1-2 page statement outlining my research interests and experience to be considered for the doctoral program. This will not affect my MS decision as I am still guaranteed it. Did anyone receive an email or notification of this type as well?

Any computer architecture admits/interview calls?

To the poster immediately below: thank you very much for your answer! Is there any story of a recent Berkeley EECS admit who did not go through interviews? I'd assume that no interview = no offer. Sorry everyone for the spam, I hope it helps other current or future candidates
