I emailed my guide today about the result. He said he has no idea. I emailed the admissions office as well. Got an email saying application under review. After few hours got an email asking me to check the application for decision. BAM!!. I was offered admission with fellowship.

email from POI, not from school, I haven't yet heard anything back from the school officially. "Thank you. I had a look at your application materials. It's currently in the system, and pending initial admissions review. However, I had to point out that your GPA for your BSc is low, and I think it will not fly through the initial admissions review. We have a strict GPA cutoff of 3.3 for external candidates."

To the poster below, Yes Chinese have received offers from KAUST. They started sending on 1st March and the last update I have is of 12th March. You can download QQ and join the portal named KAUST to have more information.

Is there any Chinese received the official offer of computer science???? Since I took personal interview in 11, Feb, 2014, the final interviewers told me that the offer would be gave out during these two weeks. However, a month have passed away approximately.

That means that decisions will be out after 7th of April. Makes sense because they will select from the candidates who appeared in 1st March interviews and 7th April interviews and send offers around 15th of April. So 2 more weeks to go. But another theory is that the decisions will be out on 6th April as China received there decisions a day before the Istanbul interviews back in March. Any how the wait is not over yet

To the guy below. I am not sure what logic Kaust is following to call students for interviews. I applied on Feb 13 after contacting a professor and the interviews followed quickly. People who submitted before me are yet to be contacted. I know some Indians who finished their interviews and some yet to be called to interview. To the poster below, had they conducted any skype interview for Indian students for fall 14. If yes then when they conducted..Coz I did not recieved any interview call by the kaust ppl.

To the guy below. The interviews for Indians is conducted via skype only. The applicants from India have not been called to Istanbul like the other countries. I am not sure why. Maybe bcos of the distance. I did both my interviews via skype.

Many people who were Academically interviewed between 10th to 20th March have received a Personal Interview call in Turkey on 7th of April.

It has been 3 weeks after the Personal Interview from the Arab and Subcontinent region. I guess we can expect offers rolling out any day now.

Applied for MS but did not receive any update yet..Can anyone tell when are the results about selection be released???

I got great conversation with the potential advisor through skype and he told me he is looking forward to work with me in KAUST. But after 2 weeks, I didn't hear from KAUST yet. Really panic
