Just got an e-mail from the program director that decisions are taking longer be released because of the amount of applications that need to be reviewed. Did anyone else get this?

To the earlier poster asking if anyone has heard, I haven’t yet...been checking my email every 5 min but still nothing :/

Dept Decision - Insufficient Background

Listed as: Refer to grad dept. provisional. Status hasn't changed for over a month.

Coordinated free exercise program last year of undergrad, 2-years of work experience at a university, group lead for a local climate change group.

Still waiting for official acceptance letter

Was not given a waitlist rank. May be waiting until mid-August for definite results.

1 1/2 year volunteer domestic violence advocate, 1yr admin Domestic Violence Center, paralegal degree, Poli sci BA at SJSU, 1yr at VA, 1yr legal intern, internships at local government, volunteer experience, 10 years in recovery.

Was initially waitlisted. Received an email today stating acceptance to their extended master's program! 2017 Season: 2a/1r Side note: has anyone heard about financial aid from SJSU?

For extended master's program. Graduated UCLA with B.A. American Literature and Culture with minor in Education, three years as a special education assistant (classified) in a K-8. SJSU was my top choice for the M.Ed and high Filipino demographic to practice being a bilingual service provider.
