GPA is second Master's degree. Late notification. Multiple conference presentations, extensive editing and teaching experience. Disappointing but not fully surprising.

Disregard the update. But has anyone heard from the department? At this point I would appreciate a formal rejection, at least for the time and effort put into the application!

I got a conditional housing offer which required proof of an offer by April 1, so I called the department and they told me that if I was still under consideration at this point, they would have reached out to me to notify me of my acceptance or waitlist status. It's an informal rejection, and it's pathetic that they have people who they are certain they will reject but who they don't consider it worth their time to even notify.

Emailed for an update, got a rejection

Canadian applicant. I suspect my proposed research didn't quite line up - there was only one prof but it seems like they are no longer available. Good luck to everybody else!

(Migration Studies) Please decline your offer if you have better offers. This is my only option after years of applications, and most importantly it holds emotional significance for me and my family. PLEASE.
