Didn't contact PI in advances. Realized was not a good fit for the program half way filling out the application but nevertheless turned it in. Was expecting it to come.

I am currently doing my Masters in General Psychology. I have a 3.9 here.

One of the faculty reached out to me and said that most likely those who have not received notification of acceptance were placed on a waitlist. Unfortunately, she did indicate that they will most likely not be able to tap into that waitlist. Congrats to all who were accepted! :)

I received the official invitation to their scheduled online interview day.

Received the email from one of the professors there. They said to "lookout for when interviews are happening in the first week of February." So it wasn't explicit but heavily implied I got an interview.

POI informed me on 28th Feb that I’ve been accepted into the program. Got an official letter from the psychology department today about funding and acceptance.

The POI had contacted me before if I'm still interested in the program, to which I agreed. They sent out a request today for an interview sometime in the next two weeks.

Had video conference interview with quant psych faculty in the morning and received an email from POIs several hours later.

Had a Skype interview with 3 POIs. 3 hours after the interview, I received an enthusiastic email from one of the POIs that said I got accepted! I think if they really like you, they will speed up the process just for you.
