First acceptance!

Received an email that asked to check my application status in NYU grad portal?m, where they posted a decision on my application.

But accepted to their master program in History (although I already have a masters in history)

GPA is combined from dual-masters. No interview.

0a/0w/0i/4r/2p | I kind of expected this since I hadn't had an interview. GPA is Masters. Multiple publications and great LORs. This whole cycle sucks. "The Admissions Committee for NYU Steinhardt has carefully and thoroughly reviewed your application and supporting credentials. It is with regret that I inform you that we cannot offer you admission to the Media, Culture, and Communication - MCCD-PHD program. Thank you for the time and effort you put into completing your application. We realize our decision may be disappointing and we are sorry that we cannot grant you an opportunity to continue your education at NYU Steinhardt. Because of the volume of applications we receive and school policy, we are not permitted to provide individualized feedback on your application.
