No GRE, 3.72 undergrad GPA in unrelated subject (class of 2020), 1 official literary publication, volunteer reader for a lit mag. 3r/1a/1p From Rejection notification on status portal: "Please know that the decision is the reflection of a very competitive applicant pool, and we are confident you have the tools to succeed wherever you decide to enroll. We wish you all the best in your studies and beyond." I've heard from other programs that they had an unusually competitive year, even given the extremely selective nature of fiction MFAs.

This was for NWP.

Accepted at 9 low-res programs and picked this one.

low-res program (Stonecoast)

"I am writing to let you know that you are on the waitlist for admission to our MFA program. We had an extraordinary number of applications this cycle, and admissions decisions were very difficult. We are a small program, and we offer only eight spots total (which are fully funded) across three genres. Obviously, we were very impressed with your application." 0a/3w/5r/2p
