To the U of Maryland poster below out of options for this season - hang in there. Look at some low res options too - still time to get an application in for this fall with most of them. Chin up and pen down on paper. Keep going.

Got an email that I have been recommended for admission to the MS civil engineering in structures. Final decision will come from graduate school later.

First Admit of the season, waiting for others still.

To those who received the offers: if you have better choices and don't plan to accept the offer, can you please decline the offer as soon as you can? I am currently on the waiting list...

Did anyone receive the offer from this program yet? If you did, please let me know if this program is your top choice.

Bottom tier program, accepted elsewhere, who really cares.

To the poster below, can you please share to what research track you have been accepted at UMD?

Offered a scholarship and graduate assistantship.

Had an interview on 16th Jan

Ugh. 0a/0w/3r/5p.

I got an email says that I'm accepted, the formal email will be sent soon by the Dean. However, my status hasn't changed on the website.

Does "Under Graduate Review" always mean a rejection for the Creative Writing program? It seems that from past reports this is almost always the case. If anyone has more information let me know, thank you.

To below poster, my status has not changed yet. The status is under "departmental/program review" now. Does anybody know about the difference of application status?
