TPB: I received an email around 8pm central time today. I wasn't waitlisted before so I guess they didn't have as many applicants accepting their offers as they planned. I already declined- good luck to those still waiting.

Was really confident of an admit. Let's hope for the best

UT austin is completely over? Has anyone heard from this school?

Submitted app in November. Heard back on April 14. Waste of money.

I just turned down my spot on the waitlist. Good luck everyone!

Notified via email on 2/12 that I was on the waitlist, invited via email on 2/26 to visiting weekend, visited campus 3/8-10, notified via email of rejection 4/15. Subfield is AMR.

Finally heard back that all the finalists accepted. It's a weird feeling, but a good one. This was the last thing holding me from another top choice program. So no love lost.

Call in to check status before deadline.

TTPB with UT Austin Admit. Can you please share your profile? Were you in contact with any of the professors?

Finally!

Looking at all the rejects to International students for Mechanical MS, it seems they aren't taking any International students this time. It's disheartening to wait for almost 5 months, to get such a response.
