Received email that letter was published on my account. Top choice!

UCLA poster from earlier -- we had a long phone call about our overlapping research interests, current trends in psychological/medical anthropology, and what the department and life in LA are like. Very informal and more of a conversation than an interview; I didn't feel like I was being "evaluated" so much as sharing my interests in more depth and asking questions of my own.

To the UCLA interview poster: congrats! Which track to you take? And is the interview invitation directly coming from your poi or someone else in the department? Extremely nervous right now - it seems that UCLA didn’t do interviews in the past years...

Skype interview with POI

Casual conversation with POI (40 minutes), asked about project and funding. Results should be out by the end of this week.

Invitation for informal phone interview this afternoon by POI

Generic rejection. Oh well, it was worth a shot...

:/

Generic email at noon EST.

Has anyone heard from Boston?

Email from POI for a 15 min Skype interview for Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology

Congrats to poster below! Do you mind sharing what subfield you are?

Received 2 emails from 2 faculty members for short interviews. They told me that they planned to conclude all interviews by this upcoming week.

Received an email from the Director of Graduate Studies at 8pm on a Friday. From previous statistics and my own experience, it seems like Princeton doesn't interview students. Really grateful for the offer. Totally surprised and very grateful.

I had an interview with 4professors on Jan 31st. It was my 2nd interview..(first one Jan 22nd) Is it usual to have interview twice? or am i that bad...?
