TPB: I'm unsure whether they are finished sending out waitlists. But the virtual visit day is on April 2.

TPB: Not to flex more, but I received two rejections from BU and two from Georgetown... Who's the bigger loser now?

Does anyone know if BU has finished sending out waitlists or not? May I ask when is the virtual open day? Thanks!

Not to flex too hard on the rest of you losers but I actually received TWO rejection emails from BU. Imagine... twice the correspondence with the admissions committee... RIP to those only getting one rejection email but i'm different

I received a directed email. I didn't send any email asking for my status.

I emailed them to see about the status of my application. I received a generic email the next day.

On the waitlist for both :/

The department notified me that application process has been slow down because of the university closure and "no decisions have yet been sent out."

To the post below, I've received the email from Boston University at the beginning of Mar, I think a lot of applicants have received the email. Maybe you can check your junk mail. Btw, I've heard that they only have 8 slots in total this year.

got this email in the morning while sleep deprived, stressed as hell looking like a creature straight out of the 80s troll movie. possibly the most weirdest timing but im happy i finally got my decision :)

Has anyone heard back from this program (Ph.D. Program in Statistics)? I submitted application in Jan, and tried to emailed them regarding my status these day, but no reply.

If someones don't want to attend this program, please inform the office. I don't have any other acceptances and would be very grateful. Thanks so much !!

To the previous poster, I haven't heard anything. I had a skype interview in February and since then no emails or communication from the school or department. Boston has a lot of covid cases and public and private schools are closed through May 4th so things are pretty crazy there.
