got response after emailing from the staff, said "mostly likely not being able to get an offer." okay....didn't expect too much from them

$1750/month assistantship & $5000/year fellowship. Declining, so somebody on the wait list should be happy

12.5K LAS graduate fellowship; $875/month (1/4 time) TA

12.5k fellowship + 7k TA

Like I care. Already accepted by Columbia.

Waitlisted for funding...

To all the posts below : Congratulations fellow acceptances!! The e-mail attachment says nothing about number on the wait list, just the fact that its a small number and we maybe offered assitantships after April 15th if funding becomes available. As for the masters/undergrad thing, I am not sure because I did get admitted with just undergrad degree;but do have taken lots of Math as an undergrad ( minor) - if that counts.

I just called Dr. Schroeter, about 15 people on the waiting list and they are going to send 20+ offers with assistantship. This year they send waiting list first.

I apply for PhD but they accepted me to MS, said they rarely accept undergrads to Phd... To Iowa posters below: congratulation! and how many of you have earned master degree before applying?

To all ISU post below, me too. Accpeted and waiting listed for funding. Any one know the number of waiting lister or funded slot? THX!!

Exactly, I got the same e-mail. Don't know why, it seems many graduate schools having funding constraints even to make first round offers.

Without funding, it is said I am one of small number of admitted applicants who are on a waiting list for assistantships.

Yay！ Dream School!

Just got accepted and waitlisted from Iowa State !! Anybody got any offers yet ? because apparently they said they were having budget constraints so very limited funds this year. Please let me know if anyone got funding offer so I understand whether I am waiting for first round offers or second rounds.
