I am truly sorry to inform you that we are not offering you admission to the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The number of applicants to the graduate program far exceeds the number that can be accommodated and therefore only a small fraction of applicants can be accepted. We appreciate your interest in our department and hope that you are able to pursue your graduate studies elsewhere.

About funding: the email says "...the admission decision and funding decision are separate. ... You will be contacted directly if a faculty member wishes to discuss funding with you."

Email saying application status change and to check portal. My acceptance letter was there, but no word on funding.

I got a reply- 'Thank you for your email. The admissions committee is still reviewing applications. We sent out the first round of offers and will determine if a second round will be sent after April 15.' So, first round of decisions have been made I guess.

Received a mail notifying the decision on my admission was made. When checked at the website, I was denied the admission.

Accepted to data and systems track. No word on funding. Just posted on the website with no email notification.
