No Word From Florida

To the poster below: adding this in since you asked about Gainesville. I was waitlisted back at the end of February, but I know for a fact they have spoken several times by email and phone with those given an initial offer as well as those on the waitlist in recent weeks. Sorry to say, but I'd always rather know than not.

No information on how exactly their waitlist works...

To answer the UF Mental Health poster below, I interviewed for MFT on 3/19. My friend in mental health interviewed same day and got admitted on 3/12; I was admitted 3/15. Also, does anyone here prefer UF or UCF strongly over the other for MFT/Mental Health?

To the most recent poster below about the University of Florida, are you going to accept your spot there?

I still haven't heard back yet, but I do know that a couple of people who have heard back and have been accepted. However, they did not hear back on the same days. One was emailed last Monday (12th) and another heard back last Friday (16th). I am currently a master's student in the Criminology department at UF and a faculty member reached out to a current grad student in the Counseling program and she said that they all heard back at different times and that it was about a month after the group interview. To those of you who have been accepted or are waiting to hear back, when did you have you interviews? Mine was on the 23rd and was the last round of in-person interviews so I am wondering if that may have anything to do with the delayed response.

Got an email March 11 saying I was accepted with funding

Also completed a thesis and fellowship during my undergrad.

I just checked the website today (3/19) and it says unable to offer admission. I still haven't received an email notification. For those of you freaking out, I would check your application status! Good luck!
