Has anyone heard anything from their POI or the program itself?

I was invited to the recruitment event informally by my potential advisor (apparently 01/14) . According to him, this department does not do formal interviews and the event has no effect on evaluation of the application. It is a "social event". Students are put on the invite list by faculty advisors. I think there has been some confusion in other comments about thinking this was an actual interview.

Offer letter did not include funding information, School website mentions about separate communications regarding financial assistance. Did not include GRE scores in my app as it was optional.

Email from POI regarding Interview Dates (2/4 or 2/11)

Applied for the MSPH and was rejected. However strongly recommended to change the applying program to the MPH and told that they are ready to transfer my application. I am thinking of accepting this offer.
