Got a call from POI, said that official email will be sent on Tuesday. 5 pubs (ranging from 2nd to 7th author), 1 in progress. Research experience starting from freshman year summer. Currently finishing Master's. Accepted to materials chemistry.

Terrible Subject Test, meh GPA and general GRE, but 3 years of great research with 2 publications + 2 manuscripts in progress and 3 strong LORs

Chemistry physics double major, 3 years research, 3 publications (2 first author), 3 great LOR, good GRE, decent subject test

Fully funded, monthly stipend, chair award, benefits... thrilled!

Knew it was coming having seen acceptances and not getting an interview. Bizarrely curt rejection in body of email that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Interviewed two days ago. Received email this morning from the Graduate Coordinator.

Interview on Jan 21. Email about waitlist status from Admissions Chair on Feb 17.

I sent emails to inquiry my status and the professor tell my they already make the list of accepted students.

Current undergraduate from this school. Apparently, there is a saying that they don't want criminology students from their own school because they want "fresh blood."

Second offer this year. I am interested in PDEs/Applied Math/Numerical Analysis. My dream schools are Penn State/Maryland(AMCS)/Northwestern(ESAM)/UCSD. Very likely I am to be waitlisted or rejected by them. But I am still hoping even for the slenderest chance！！！
