Had an interview but got a rejection... sort of what I expected!

Kinda early for a Columbia rejection, hopefully others don't wait till March

General email to check portal. Application transferred to second option major (masters).

This was an interesting concession at least: "Admissions committees must base their decisions on materials that reduce unique individuals such as you to the components of their applications dossier."

Admitted to the Archaeology program - Received an email from the Graduate Program Coordinator with the acceptance letter and funding offer! So excited!!!

CITE; had my interview on Monday and heard back today. Official letter coming soon.

To the poster below, were you accepted in CITE program or biological?

E-mail received around 2 pm (PST) from graduate studies

Funding still TBD, and the letter noted that the faculty is not able to offer funding for all their graduation students, but I'm still hopeful and excited to be accepted!

One of my top choices, so I'm just happy they consider me qualified straight out of undergrad! Hopefully a spot opens up for me in the coming weeks.
